University of South Australia - Study Abroad and Exchange
Study Abroad and Student Exchange at UniSA!
What is Study Abroad and Student Exchange?
Study Abroad and Student Exchange programs are short term programs that enable international students to study for a study period or two in any of UniSA's campuses in South Australia. Students can combine formal education with travelling experiences before, during and after the study periods.
Student Exchange students' fees are covered by the fees paid at their home university; Study Abroad students pay UniSA fees.

Who can be a Study Abroad student?
- A high school graduate (equivalent to Australian Year 12) not yet enrolled at a home institution.
- Someone who wishes to study part of their degree (either 1 or 2 semesters) at UniSA and take all credits achieved to any other institution.
- A graduate from any recognised university wishing to study abroad.
All University of South Australia programs are taught and assessed in English. If English is not your main language you will need to demonstrate your level of English proficiency prior to admission.
What can you study?
UniSA offers a broad range of vocationally oriented professional education courses. Perhaps your dream is to:

- Market premium wines?
- Teach pre-school children?
- Learn how to make blown glass forms?
Our answer is in our courses in:
- Applied Wine Marketing
- Early Childhood Education
- Glass blowing
We ensure that our curricula meet both the current and emerging needs of industry, business and the professions. Close working links with industry partners will enable you to gain extensive hands-on experience. For instance, our Social Work program provides an opportunity for students to work with professionals in correctional services as a key component of their academic program; final year Marketing students may choose an optional course in professional practice which links them with an Australian company requiring market research for the sale or distribution of their products.
