Division of Business

one of Australia’s larger faculties of business and recognised as a significant contributor to the Asia-Pacific region, students benefit from studying with local and international students from a widerange of backgrounds. Within each Division of Business degree, there are opportunities to study specialist areas, partake in overseas student exchange or study a double degree.
Only the second Australian business school to be accredited for both domestic and international operations by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), the Division of Business has earned a reputation as one of Australia’s leading educators of entrepreneurs and business professionals.

Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences

The Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences teaches and researches across a broad field of the arts, humanities and social sciences, focusing on work which contributes to the building of open, democratic, inclusive, creative and sustainable communities.
Programs are enriched by the professional knowledge and connections of staff while research deals with issues of theoretical interest and practical concern.
The Division promotes the widest expression of the talents and scholarship of its staff, encouraging leadership in community service, innovation in teaching, excellence in research and engagement with diverse traditions and cultures.
The Division values the contributions and supports the achievements of a diverse range of staff and students, both in Australia and internationally. With ground-breaking and innovative studies in a national context, research and teaching work has established an
increasingly strong international reputation.

Division of Health Sciences

The Division of Health Sciences focuses on the study and research of science-based prevention, diagnosis and treatment of health problems. Modern, innovative and accessible programs ensure course content is relevant to students and the needs of health
professionals worldwide.
In 2005, the Division moved to a new multi-level Health Sciences building at the City East campus, in the heart of Adelaide.
Extensive renovations and upgrades have improved facilities and the new building provides state-of-the-art specialised laboratories and a 350 seat auditorium.
Adjacent to South Australia’s largest hospital, medical school and Department of Health, the Division of Health Sciences provides excellent access to valuable resources. Committed to forming working partnerships and collaborations with business, industry and government, the Division offers a wide range of careers in areas including physics, nutrition, podiatry and medical radiation.

Division of Information Technology, Engineering
and the Environment

The global economy has created high demand for skilled, innovative and experienced professionals who can use the latest technologies effectively and intelligently to create sustainable solutions for business, industry and the community.
The Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment offers educational and research programs within Australia and internationally to educate and develop professionals in a range of discipline areas.

  • sciences, technologies, engineering and management of natural and built environments
  • mathematical modelling and statistics

The Division’s schools and research centres have a proven ability in developing educational programs, courses and research in collaboration with industry both locally and internationally and in response to market demand.
The Division produces graduates with contemporary knowledge, skills and qualities and the ability to readily apply their knowledge in the workplace. Degree programs are accredited by professional bodies within Australia and internationally.
