“Aviation has fascinated me since I was a little girl. I chose the Bachelor of Technology (Air Transport Management) course because I love that while the course is very technical, you also learn about other aspects of the aviation industry at the same time.

“Australia is a beautiful country. There are so many things to do and explore; the people are lovely and most of all it is bright and sunny for most of the year. Swinburne has a really nice atmosphere and you feel at home right away. The Hawthorn campus is not overly huge and having Glenferrie Road next door is great. I love the greenery of the suburb and it’s full of young people like me.

“Living on campus is very convenient! It’s a two-minute walk to my classes (I get to sleep in every day!), and unbelievably close to the gym as well as the shops and restaurants on Glenferrie Road. The UniLodge @ Swinburne Place apartments are spacious and modern. The time I have spent in the apartment building has given me plenty of opportunity to become friends with more people than I would normally encounter in my classes.”
