Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne - Scholarships

Swinburne is a leading research university with a number of research scholarships available to international students.

Swinburne Chancellor's Research Scholarship (CRS)

CRS are funded by Swinburne University of Technology and are the University's premier research scholarships. CRS cover tuition fees and provide an annual stipend of $25,000, a research Establishment Grant of up to $3000, and up to $5000 for an overseas placement, for up to six months, in a collaborating laboratory or organisation nominated by Swinburne.

CRS are only available only for full time PhD study within one of Swinburne's areas of research concentration.

Swinburne University Postgraduate Research Award (SUPRA)

SUPRA are funded by Swinburne University of Technology. SUPRA cover tuition fees plus an annual stipend and are available for either Doctoral or Masters level research.

International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS)

IPRS are funded by the Australian Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST). IPRS are open to citizens of all overseas countries (excluding New Zealand ). IPRES cover tuition fees only and are available for either Doctoral or Masters level research.

Closing date: All applications for Swinburne research scholarships close on the last Friday of October each year.
