What were your first impressions of Sydney? Relaxed, exciting and friendly city.

Favourite place or activity in Sydney: Shopping in the city and swimming at the beach.

When I think of Sydney, I think of: City and beaches – nightlife.

Why did you choose MGSM? Location and duration of course. As I could only take 1 year off work I had to find a course that was of appropriate duration and also had the credibility.

MGSM Faculty: Good facility and convenient location and it is good having the CBD location as well although it would be better if all of the courses were available at both locations.

The Richer Learning Experience: Variety of students which enables a lot of sharing of experiences from a variety of countries and job roles. Lecturers are good and seem to have a broad knowledgeable range of experience both practical and theoretical.

Syndicate Groups: Good for sharing ideas and discussing details of some items with people from a variety of backgrounds and with different perspectives to my own - good motivation to complete tasks.

Networking Opportunities: Have already met a variety of people for a number of countries and a broad selection of industries - so as the course continues and I get a clearer idea of my future then I will be able to utilise this more.

Goals and plans after graduation? Initially I will return to previous employer - although I am not sure which role I will take, as this will largely depend on the availability of a suitable role - alternatively I may look for other opportunities with a new employer.

What are you hoping to take away from the MGSM MBA program? I hope to generally broaden my perspective and understanding of management issues. I am also hoping it will enable me to make a career change at some point in the future
