Direct-entry pathways - MIBT

In conjunction with the Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT), Deakin offers direct-entry pathways to university for students who do not meet the University’s entry requirements.

Upon successful completion of a Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies, students can transfer to an MIBT diploma course or apply for entry into the first year of selected Deakin courses.

MIBT diplomas are equivalent to the first year of a DeakinUniversity undergraduate degree. Completion of an MIBT diploma guarantees students direct second-year entry into selected Deakin courses, subject to meeting relevant admission requirements.
