To study in Australia, first you need to apply for a place at an Australian university of your choice.

When you receive a confirmation of enrolment from a university you can apply for your student visa. A UK citizen can apply for a student visa online at www.immi.gov.au by downloading the application form. It can be submitted via email, and usually takes approximately 3 weeks to process. With an Australian student visa:

• A student can work up to 20 hours a week during semester and full time during the holiday period.
• There are no age restrictions.
• A student can apply to bring their spouse or family members with them while studying in Australia.
